MeshMakers is a space for innovation, creation, design, prototyping and development of tangible objects. A place where everyone can be an inventor or a tinkerer without having exceptional skills or owning expensive tools, to try out and make things with inspiring new technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, microcontrollers, sensors and the likes. Our main goal is simple: to put Norway on the map of the maker movement.
Oslo Socially Functional (Programmers) is a meetup group for programmers that like functional programming and related topics. It is shamelessly modeled on NYC's Socially Functional (Functional Alcoholics), which is a hilarious pun except when people see it out of context and think you have a drinking problem. We will have hacking sessions and presentations with around the Oslo area. If you have an idea for a good topic or an awesome bar we can sit and hack, post it!
Bitraf opened on March 1st 2012, and is Oslo's largest hackerspace. This is a community for enthusiasts of the electronic arts; programming, graphics, music, sound and electronics. We have strong ties to the demoscene and the free software movement. The space is open 7 days per week for anyone. More information at http://bitraf.no
