We will focus on general best practices and as the group grows, we hope to attract industry leaders to sponsor and speak on the Health Information Space (PHI, HIPPA, HiTech, etc) as well as the retail credit card space (PCI DDS SSAE16, etc.) If you join and are interested in presenting, let me know. Come be a part of elevating the Nashville IT security community.
This is a new discussion and action group for singularitarians, makers, and crypto-anarchists/cypherpunks. We strive to anticipate technological change in the coming decades, with a view towards creating a better society through the design and use of new forms of software and hardware. These include bitcoin (and bitcoin mining), 3d printing, robotics, and others. Although not a political group per se, anarchists, libertarians, Taoists, etc. are especially welcome.
